Upcoming Events:
Mark your calendar for these important events:
- Novice Interest Night is Monday, September 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the WSHS Cafeteria. Interested in joining Crew? Prospective rowers and their parents are invited to come find out about our program and meet our current rowers, coaches, and parents.
- Crew Open House at Sandy Run is Saturday, September 25 starting at 10:00 a.m. Come tour our boathouse and see the Sandy Run Rowing Facility where we practice and compete. Rowers and parents will be there to answer questions and show you around.

Rower Updates
- The team captains for the 2011 season for the men's team are Dustin Davis ('11), Josh Smith ('11) and Ben Joyner ('12). The captains for the women's team are Jerney Davis ('11), Kaitlyn Wheeler (11), and Veronica Aguilar ('12).
Our coaches are Matt Petty, Mark Hemphill, Matt Hoffer, Sarah Sikes, Jake Buchanan, Bryan Tylander.

- Volunteer! WS Crew survives on the generous spirit of our parents to step into roles to make our program thrive. The following positions remain unfilled for the upcoming term: Publicity/Newsletter Director, Car Wash Coordinator Curb Painting Coordinator. New positions that need to be filled: Operations Assistant. The positions that are open and brief descriptions are located on the Crew Boosters and Volunteers webpage.
Fundraising Updates
- Scrip is available to order online. A Scrip Ordering Guide for using the on-line system has been placed on the Fundraising webpage. You can shop for scrip at "shopwithscrip.com" which will allow you to place an order for scrip whenever you'd like. Get started with this great program; it's any easy way to generate funds into your fundraising account. You buy this stuff anyway, so make it work for you!
